Volunteers Wanted!
We are currently seeking Volunteers to join Carol Ann’s Campaign Team! We have several types of roles available. Please contact us at CarolAnnFeltsManatee@gmail.com if you are available to join our team.
Remote Opportunities
We have several roles that can be performed from the comfort of your own home. These include helping us to develop Campaign Materials, as well as helping to work on the Campaign’s Electronic Presence.
Graphics Opportunities:
We need folks to help us develop graphics to be used on Campaign Materials, as well as on the Facebook Page and the Campaign Website. We have a logo developed, but need a plethora of other graphics to be used in campaign materials.
Writing Opportunities:
We need writers to work on creating posts to be used on the Website and on the Facebook Page. We need folks to help us develop ad copy and copy for all types of Campaign Literature too.
We also need folks who will write supportive Letters to the Editor in local publications like The Bradenton Herald, The AMI Sun, The Longboat Observer, etc. We need folks to write endorsements and helpful comments on media posts too.
Marketing Materials:
If you are good with both graphics and with writing, we could use your help in creating fliers, postcards, signs, etc. We need help creating campaign literature and the like.
Fundraising:
We especially need folks with expertise in fundraising to help us fund a successful campaign. This includes soliciting donations. We’d welcome help with identifying and running fundraising activities as well.
“Boots on the Ground” Type Opportunities
We need folks willing to help Carol Ann with set up and staffing for all in-person Campaign Activities, including setting up and manning booths at fairs and other similar functions, and all Personal Appearances. We also need help with finding and scheduling such appearances.
We need folks to help with Door to Door Campaigning activities, including distributing Campaign Literature and answering questions about Carol Ann’s experience, background, and platform. We need folks to staff tables at Community Events.
We need folks to coordinate and schedule “Sign Waving” sessions. We also need help with folks identifying places we can put campaign signs, as well as with installing these signs and collecting them at the end of the campaign.
We need volunteers to help with “public visibility.” This includes such activities as wearing your t-shirt in public as much as possible, as well as participating in brainstorming potential visibility raising activities.
And we can ALWAYS use photographers, both to take pictures at live events, and to take photos to use in our other Marketing Efforts. Please e-mail us any photos you take at any of our events!
