About Carol Ann
Carol Ann has been an active participant in environmental issues, local government, and a proponent for Smarter Growth in Florida for decades, with an innate sense of place, knowledge of its land and waterways, and the cultural, political and economic history of this area.
Born and raised in Miami and the Keys in a family of first responders, Ms. Felts has a background in accounting in a variety of industries, to include manufacturing, agriculture, and the design/build industry.
As an appointee to the Environmental Lands Management and Acquisition Committee, as the at-Large representative for the citizens, Carol Ann brings to that advisory board not only her intrinsic knowledge of the environmental challenges in a growing area, but her respect for the prudent use of our tax dollars in how we address them.
Ms. Felts has committed her efforts for many years to educating, informing and involving her fellow residents in their local government and having a voice in the decisions made that form our communities and effect our quality of life.
She is both a fiscal conservative, and an ardent conservationist that believes in less government and the adherence to the tenets, rights and responsibilities of its citizens to uphold the values of the American Way.
Ms. Felts is dedicated to her passion for this state and the representation of its citizens in local government.
